"Excerpts"

5th Graders chose a short excerpt from one of the favorite books and transcribed it using Google Docs. They then drew an illustration representing the characters and or scene they picked. They scanned in the drawing and used Pixlr or Photoshop to "clean up" their artwork and format it to be embedded into their Google doc.
